AIA Vitality sponsored “Round The Bays”, New Zealand’s largest fun run. The event took place in March 2020 with a record turnout of more than 34,000 participants.

Power of education

AIA has pledged US$100 million to support 100 undergraduates a year to attend Hong Kong’s universities over the next several decades. The AIA Scholarships represent a major investment in Hong Kong and reflect AIA’s great confidence in the future of the city and its young people.

In addition to the financial support, AIA Scholarships awardees are invited to join the Young Leaders Development Programme organised by AIA Foundation. The programme will equip them with the skills they need to become socially responsible leaders of tomorrow through activities such as career-planning workshops and opportunities to serve their community.

In 2021, AIA Australia partnered with Literacy Buddies - a pen pal programme that matches volunteers from AIA Australia with children from the Sacred Heart Primary School in Fitzroy, Melbourne. Literacy Buddies aims to help underprivileged children with the basic foundations of literacy as well as providing them with additional adult role models.

By adopting the WELL Building Standard, AIA goes beyond the environmental performance of the building and embraces human-centered design, benefiting the physical and mental well-being of building users.

One AIA Financial Centre was the first building in Guangdong province to be awarded the top LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum) certification awarded by the US Green Building Council. In 2018, Two AIA Financial Centre also received the same rating.

Providing aid in times of need
